For registering on Online Maps Portal under govt user category, users must have an active and valid govt email. If your organization is a govt organization but your domain is not registered as govt domain on OMP, the user can initiate the process of domain whitelisting by writing an email to mtr.soi@gov.in for whitelisting of domain as govt email domain along with following documents:- 1. A letter from Head of the Department (HoD) on official letterhead addressed to The Director, NGDR & UGI Directorate, Survey of India, Dehradun for whitelisting of domain name as Govt email domain of your department. 2. PDF of ‘Self Certification of Entities’ downloaded from National Geo-Spatial Services Portal (https://geospatial.dst.gov.in) duly filled by the HoD.

Uploading the 'Self Certificate' is a mandatory condition for registration on OMP for Government as well as private users. For generating the 'Self certificate' :- 1. Visit the National Geo Spatial Service Portal of DST: https://geospatial.dst.gov.in 2. Click on 'Self Certification of Entities'. 3. Fill in the required details. 4. Download the system-generated PDF certificate.
